• DO report posts and post authors for violating social media policy, and let the author know you’re going to do so.

  • Example: “This content violates Facebook’s hate speech policy. Continuing to post antisemitic content will result in your account being shut down. I will continue to follow up with your content to ensure that policy is enforced.”

• DO use the following hashtags:

• DO like, comment on, and share social media posts that spread the truth. Engagement is important for telling the algorithm to share these messages!!

• DO NOT share/post/repost images and videos that show dangerous behavior.

  • Some of us, in an attempt to demonstrate how vile and horrific these videos and images are, repost them and add our own commentary explaining how inflammatory, false, and horrific they are. I suggest NOT doing that. The algorithm doesn't care that you're sharing the horrible video or image because you disagree with the message and you want people to know it's harmful. The algorithm just knows that the video is being reposted and reposted and reposted. Let's not help make these dangerous videos more popular.
